    Weekend Special!

Weekends at Delft could be described by happening Saturdays and sleepy Sundays. We were thinking of going out for a leisurely walk and pack some lunch home yesterday afternoon, only to be greeted by an ongoing flea market right at the doorstep. Sellers line their stalls all along the canals (where our bikes were parked... hence they just conveniently used our bikes to drape their cloth over and display their stuff). The whole town was bustling with activities, but nothing on sale really caught my eye...

Dinners are sometimes... often... alright, let's be frank... always prepared by our Mr San. Well, he's an excellent chef, that we must admit. Since the day we arrive in Delft, we've tasted Bak Kut Teh w/ pasta, Fried Rice, Burgers, Tomato Soup, Macaroni in Chicken Soup, etc. For the pics, do check out Elita's photo album. Below is just a shot of what happens almost every evening, me and Ju slacking against the wall of the kitchen while Craig handles the cooking :)

Today, we thought that we could go to the mall near my hostel to do some shopping when we realize that all shops are closed on Sundays! Sigh. Nevertheless, restaurants and cafes are still open. We decided to try out a place right beside the apartment that sells both fresh and cooked fish. Also some shots of our feathered friends that roams freely here in Delft:

Been communicating with friends and family through e-mails and msn messenger. Now what're the chances of opening up all 51 mines in a regular minesweeper flag game on MSN? Chet and I got lucky and drew at 25 flags planted on both sides!!!
