    Thanks all...

... for your well wishes, here and on facebook. We are glad that you are happy for us. The proposal was meant to be a much more private event which turned out more public than would've been liked. Still, it was successful and that's really all that matters :)

Anyway if you are stomper yourself, you would've known that this little "act" has been reported on Stomp, thanks to Jo. Well, as predictable as Singaporeans are, it has been received with much criticism, sarcasm, and most of all, skepticism. I felt uneasy the whole of yesterday knowing that it has been pinned up and pointed at by Singaporeans. It felt like a design crit, and as we all know, any one thing simply can't please everybody. It is so easy to criticise / trash any idea. So yea honestly, I was quite irritated.

It was precisely because of this reason, that at one point I was seriously considering not doing a customary dinner...

At first, I really think that this sorta thing should be private, and comments by others shouldn't bother us. Still, I'd be lying if I said I don't care. Ignorance is bliss. But thinking about it on the train to work this rainy morning (thunderstorm!!! hope nobody got wet... or rather, hope nobody has to work today!), I realized that I actually feel sad for some of those who posted. I thought it was out of spite, but... omg, when did I become such an emo-dude.

Sigh... Anyhowz, I'd rather think that it is a good start, and a good start oughta signify a good journey, rather than a bad start. Have some faith, chillax, and stay positive!

Chet's bros are in town to visit!!! I'm sure we'll have a good time, before heading back to Penang together, to visit and to ask the parents for permission... -.-"
