    A Day to Remember...!

I'm glad I was among the thousands of people who were in Padang this afternoon for NUS Rag and Flag day 2007, to witness history in the making. Sheares Hall won numerous shields and certificates including Best Float Design, Best Float Presentation, Most Outstanding Progress in Flag, etc. Most importantly, the Chancellor Shield is ours!!! Check out the pics! Err... normal digital camera lah haha... not SLR :) but it was pretty handy! Pls click on photos to view enlarged version.

So hot... the 6 of us were under the protection of our umbrellas... Heh... We went prepared! Below are the rags by Kent Ridge, Raffles, Eusoff, KE7 and Temasek halls respectively. Their performances were pretty good. I particularly enjoyed KE7's... very innocent. They won the most creative presentation. Not forgetting Eusoff's cool land rover that came out from the rag.

And then... the Champion rolls in...

After a wonderful performance, we went to Raffles City for some aircon... Faculty rags are very forgettable, based on past experience... So why torture ourselves in the sun. At 6pm we were gathered at the grand stand eagerly waiting for the results to be announced.

... all except Aaron who, of course, chose to sit with the girls :) Aaron~~~ Aaron~~~

We weren't with the main crowd but were on their back... Hence all the back shots. But Master G sure was a happy man today, as were all the Shearites present. Didn't forget to do the anthem... Heh.
