    London 1

One of the first stops in London was the AA. Checked out this famous architecture school, after meeting one of the year 1 tutor through Peng, Criag's friend who owns service apartments here in London. Well, their works are really conceptual, and studio facilities are only available for year ones. While we were there fireworks were set off in celebration of Guy Fawke's failed attempt on the assassination of King James I by blowing up Westminster's Palace in 1605. For the few subsequent nights we were there, there were loads of private fireworks taking place! Happening!

River Thames! We were pretty lucky the weather was great for all 6 days we were in London (no rain in London. Can u believe it? Here we have Tower Bridge, and Norman Foster's city hall. See the famous London Bridge in the following pic! Not very spectacular, but made famous by the nursery rhyme.

Lord Norman Foster's city hall upclose. Reminds me of his Reichstag because of the spirallying ramps within the building. Public access if free, with a lift bringing you straight up to the upper most level for a panoramic view of the city!

Herzog's Tate Modern, an adaptive reuse of what used to be the Battersea Power Station. Dídn't enter any of its galleries, but we did go into the public entrance space. It was nice! Standing on one end of the millenium bridge, with St Paul's cathedral on the opposite end.
