Been reading Civil War TPB on and off, again and again when I got nothing interesting to read, just flip it and look at the pics... you know. Anywayz, it was quite a sad thing that they killed off Steve Rogers. Anyhowz, he's not gonna stay dead (it IS the comics...). Apparently he's going to make a come back soon (it is almost a year after his death!!!). So... Seeing is believing, check out the cover of #39 taken from Marvel.com...

Okay, lame caption... I hope I didn't spoil it for you that the new Cap's identity is Bucky aka Winter Soldier... I like to assume I'm the most outdated when it comes to Marvel stuff ;)
Anyway I was having fun taking some shots of these two good buddies. I'm not sure I blame Tony Stark for his death, but he did orchestrate certain events (like Civil War) that led to it. Tough position to be in I guess. Was trying out how to fake a pool of blood under Cap. Not as gory as Sweeny T's but a more subtle approach. Below's Deadpool being chased~! Already orange overlay him but he still stands out too much... He shd be more orange under the streetlamp -.-" Lazy to edit... Maybe later.
Look what Chet got me for V-day. Sigh... What Spidey and Bats are saying comes from the bottom of my heart. Thanx dar, really, you shouldn't have... Appreciate it! I feel exceptionally bad cuz we agreed not to buy each other stuff this year. Oh well, I hope I redeemed myself for my Chinese V-day pressie yesterday ;) Check out my new bling close-up!
All the funny little things we do in life. To protect the country, fight for our land, with our life. To do that we need ziplock bags, really. Nothing wrong with being prepared I suppose, even wayang prepared is prepared. I say as I was packing I was quite surprised: L-torch still works; Sewing kit is still there, so is the toilet roll. I mean the toilet roll is really THE toilet roll (6yrs old, not a single sheet discarded).
Ziplock is the way to go. Still remember during active times we hear stories: "Must be ziplocked and all the air sucked out. Must COMPACT!" "Everything in - 1 minute!" "Everything out - 40 Seconds!" "CSM will be dunking the packs into a barrel of water to test the waterproof."
Jokes aside, I am looking forward to seeing some of 'em. So everything's packed, hope no bloopers along the way... Fullpack items are there, so are most of the SBO stuff. 11B? Check. FAD? Check. Class Cat-1 Bionix Driving License? Check.
Movie of the year. It may only be Feb, but I'm pretty sure of it. I can't remember another movie where I enjoyed myself so much. Totally artistic and inspiring. A masterpiece. The only problem I had was that Joanna shd've died...

Unfortunately it has excessive photo-manipulation (didn't read the guidelines b4 hand)... Ha... too bad I guess... Still, decided to share it on flickr~!
Happy CNY folks! This year these 14 words took me 3 hours. The duration gets longer and longer, not to mention the quality of the work... Mom say AMK got sell at $12, I think next yr can consider liaoz :)
Chet heard from a friend who went on a 42km cycling trip on the Park Connector that links up ECP to the parks in Changi and Bedok so... we decided to try it out ourselves, but alas, we failed. Basically we started too late (1530hrs), are too out of shape (thought it'd be a breeze... but you try pushing the bikes up 'em overhead bridges...) and haven't study the maps well enough (okay we didn't study at all). We started off on the wrong track (went to Katong Park instead, mislead by the very misleading maps provided by NParks), and by the time we returned to the correct route we only managed to get to Bedok Reservoir, but got lost after that and had to turn back cause it was getting dark. Anyhowz, it was still quite enjoyable. Check out the sights along the way:
