Roman New Year!
Rome. A place I've longed to go since I started learning about all those architecture of the past. Indeed, most of the attractions there are simply breathtaking. Also ate loads of pizza and spagetti there! It's the last leg of the trip for Xuhui and the halfway point for the rest of us!
Not a fan of the TVB show about a bunch of pilot wannabes, but Chet is. According to her, Fontana de Trevi is one of the places featured in the show. We went there and it was very crowded all the time. Flip a coin across your left shoulder into the water and make a wish!
You might have heard my ramblings already, but allow me to say it one last time here. The pantheon is closed on three days in the year, namely: 1st May, 25th Dec and 1st Jan. Judging from the photos, it isn't hard to guess when we went right...? Sigh... I'll be back one day, but of course, I'll avoid these three dates! Hermpf!
One of the many ruins in Rome that is home to several cats, which was featured in the Amazing Race. We always wanted to go and take a pay them a visit, but when we called Cheewee to ask for directions he said he only "chanced upon it" and didn't know exactly where. Well, we chanced upon it too on our way to Circus Maximus. Hiakz.
