    Brussels I

As the story goes, Elita flew off w/ her gal pal for a 10 day trip to Prague, Milan, then Barcelona. On the same day as her flight, the three of us took a train to Brussels, capial of Belgium. Only took us 2 hours plus. We spent a couple of days there! Here you see us at the Manneken Pis, a statue of a boy pissing, on which locals change his costumes to suit various occasions. Check out the pics :)

We were in the Grote Market sitting right before the Grand Palace when they were setting up a huge ass Christmas tree :) No shots of it, cuz it wasn't done up. People in Brussels are really in the mood for Christmas!!!

A few shots of the St Michael and Gudula Cathedral just a few streets off the city centre along Bouelevard de Berlaimont, followed by a shot of Musée Royaux des Beaux-Arts and the Royal Palace in B/W.

The whole city is sited on very uneven landscape. So as you climb up and down the slopes, you would be surprised at several opening between buildings which offer you a great view of the city centre from a vantage point of higher altitude. There's even an lift right along the street to bring people 4 levels up / down (see last pic)!
